One being that mom, dad and baby will have many personal items at the hospital that they will need to bring home with them already. Having extras like balloons and gift baskets makes the trip more involved than necessary. Also, because our gift baskets are shipped, they will be delivered to the shipping and receiving department. It will be up to this department to deliver the basket up to the floor. Although there is great service at many hospitals, it only takes one delayed delivery to cause issues. If the person is no longer at the hospital, they will need to make arrangements to come back and pick up the gift. Extra duties are not something a new parent needs during this time. By sending the baby gift basket to the home you can avoid delays and make the gift exactly what it should be...a pleasure to receive.
